Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job post-school was that of an agent for real estate. She met Tarek Al Moussa in the industry of real estate. After the 2008 crash of the stock market, many investors in real estate and home flippers were unable to make their profits. Tarek El Moussa nearly eliminated in the 2008 financial crisis. They went from a home that cost $6,000 per month, to a $700/month apartment. Slowly, their business and the overall economy recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011, asked a person to aid him in making an HGTV tape showing Christina and her flipping through the house from start until the very end. Pie Town Productions executive received this tape. They were thrilled with Tarek, Christina and their tale. They officially signed a agreement with HGTV in 2012. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013 Between 2013 and 2017, the show was broadcast in 92 episodes. Christina and Tarek acquired homes in Orange County that were usually mid-income homes. They then spent several weeks renovating the house so they could sell it for a gain. Tarek is primarily focused on demolition and renovation, and Christina is responsible for creating the design. She makes sure all projects are completed in time.
