Lars MikkelsenAt the age of 27 He enrolled at the National Theatre School of Denmark. He graduated in 1994. In addition to his performance as The Killing's lead actor He also appeared in two other critically well-known Danish dramas, Those Who Kill, and Borgen III. According to Mikkelsen's account the story, he and his brother were taught English by studying Monty Python records.
